As per the data, a total of 11,42,610 candidates have registered for MHT CET 2026, including 7,60,981 for PCM and 3,81,629 for PCB.
For the first attempt, 7,40,906 students registered for MH CET in the PCM and PCB streams, while 3,83,981 candidates opted for the second attempt in both streams.

This year, the PCM group has seen a significant increase. In 2025, 4,64,262 students had registered for PCM. In 2026, the first attempt at MAH CET PCM registrations alone rose to 4,74,656, reflecting an increase of 10,394 candidates, which is about 2.24% more than last year.
The Maharashtra CET cell has introduced a two-attempt system for PCM and PCB groups for the first time this year, similar to the national-level entrance formats.

The MAH CET 2026 examinations will be conducted in computer-based online mode at centres across the state. As per the schedule, the MHT CET 2026 (PCM group) first attempt will be conducted from April 11 to April 19, while the second attempt will be held from May 14 to May 17.
For the PCB group, the first attempt is scheduled from April 21 to April 26, and the second attempt from May 10 to May 11.
The state CET cell will open the MHT CET 2026 application form correction window tomorrow, March 5. Candidates will be allowed to edit their submitted MHT CET form by March 7.
Students are only allowed to edit their name, date of birth, photograph, signature, gender, addition of PCM or PCB group, and opt for the second attempt.
