MHT CET Provisional Merit List 2026 LIVE: Rank list soon at cetcell.mahacet.org; how to check, key dates

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will soon release the MHT CET 2026 provisional merit list today, July 22, 2026 on the official website of MAHA CET at cetcell.mahacet.org. This merit list for the applicants who have registered for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for BE/BTech admissions.

The provisional merit list will include the details, including name, category, application number, percentile and merit rank. Candidates are informed that the MHT CET merit list is one of the important admission processes. The authority will conduct the seat allotment on the basis of candidate’s merit rank, category, reservation criteria and choices filled during option entry.

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the provisional merit list then they can submit the grievances between July 23 to 25, 2026. The authority will review all the objections and then release the final merit list, which will be used for the CAP seat allotment rounds.

MHT CET Provisional Merit List 2026: Steps to check

To check the provisional merit list, follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of MAHA CET at cetcell.mahacet.org
• On the homepage, open the BE/BTech CAP admission page and click on 'MHT CET merit list 2026'
• Select the provisional merit list and the list PDF will appear on the screen
• Download the PDF and then search for the application number or name using the key ‘CTRL+F’

MHT CET 2026: Important dates

As per the schedule, the CET Cell will release the final merit list on July 27, 2026 and whose names appear on the MHT CET 2026 final merit list will be able to fill and confirm their CAP round 1 option form from July 28 to 30, 2026. Whereas, the MHT CET CAP round 1 provisional seat allotment result 2026 will be out on August 2, 2026.

Applicants have to accept the allotment and report to their allotted institutes between August 3 and 5, 2026. To confirm the seats, applicants need to submit the required documents and pay the admission fees.
