MICAT 2020: Key Points to Remember

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 3: MICA Admission Test (MICAT) 2020 will be conducted in computer-based mode on December 7, 2019 for phase I. MICAT 2020 will be held across 48 cities in the country in two phases - December and February. Candidates need to remember the key points ahead of the exam day so that they do not make any mistakes.

Points to Remember ahead for MICAT Exam

Applications for Admissions are open.
  1. Do your reading practice on the computer. Reading newspapers and business articles are not enough. You need to develop a habit of reading on screen. This will be beneficial in the RC section, as you will be able to save considerable time.

  2. Practice sample questions online to analyse time spent on each question and strategise much time you will be spending on a particular section.

  3. Ahead of the exam, do not study anything new

  4. Focus more on the revision of whatever you have studied

  5. Keep your mind relaxed as panicking now will not be beneficial

  6. Practice solving the online mock test. The more you get used to working on a computer screen the better it is.

Guidelines to be followed at the Exam Centre of MICAT

  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the MICAT exam centre till the exam is completed

  • If the candidate leaves the exam hall, then he or she will not be permitted to re-enter the examination hall.

  • Paper for rough work will be given at the exam centre.

  • Candidates will have to sign the attendance sheet and admit card in the presence of the invigilator.

About MICAT

Around 6000 candidates will be appearing for MICAT Phase I and II, out of which around 800 will be shortlisted for the PI and GE. Selection will be on the basis of the scores obtained in MICAT, PI and GE for the 180 seats in PGDMC and 36 seats in PGDM offered by the institute.
