MICAT 2020 phase 1 ends, exam moderately difficult, keyboard posed problem

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 7 : MICA, Ahmedabad conducted MICAT 2020 phase 1 in computer-based mode in one slot. Most of the candidates found the exam moderately difficult. Those who appeared for the exam found the English section as easy followed by quantitative ability. The difficulty level of general knowledge was high according to the inputs that have been provided by the students. Meanwhile, the students were able to finish the exam on time and as such there was not any major glitch during the course of the exam.

Analysis of Different Sections
Psychometric Test
According to the candidates who appeared for the entrance exam, Psychometric section was easy to moderately difficult. However, one of the questions was repeated in this section as per the candidates.
General Awareness
Most of the candidates who appeared for MICAT 1, they found the questions that were asked in this section as difficult. In fact some of the candidates found this section more difficult as compared to quantitative ability
Verbal Ability
Most of the candidates who appeared for MICAT 1, 2020 they found the verbal ability section quite easy and most of them are confident of scoring well in this section.
Quantitative Ability
Most of the questions that were asked in this section were from trigonometry, time and speed, time and work. Some of the candidates were of the opinion that the questions in this section were a bit time-consuming.
Descriptive Section
There were four questions that were asked in this section and candidates found it easy to moderately difficult.
What After MICAT 2020?
The result for MICAT I 2020 will be declared in online mode on December 23, 2019. The qualified candidates in the entrance exam will have to appear in the next round of selection - personal interview and group exercise. Candidates qualifying for personal interview and group exercise shall be informed by end of February 2020.
