MPPSC 2019 Application Date Extended; Age Limit Increased by One Year

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 10: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has informed in their latest notice that the application form of MPPSC State Services and Forest Services examination will now be available till December 12, 2019. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms till December 13, 2019. Earlier the last date to fill MPPSC 2019 application form was December 9 while the application correction date was December 11.

The Commission also mentions an increase in the upper age limit of the eligibility criteria. Check the revised category-wise age limits in the table below.

New Age Limit for MPPSC 2019

Candidates must not be under the age of 21 years as on January 1, 2020. All age relaxations will be as per the new age limit that is 46 years (for reserved category candidates). Earlier, the upper age limit for unreserved candidates was 40 years while the same for reserved category candidates was 45 years.

In a notice published on November 18, the Commission also decreased MPPSC State Services and Forest Services application fee. Candidates with the domicile of Madhya Pradesh have to pay Rs. 250 and those from other states have to pay Rs. 500 as application form fee.

MPPSC State Services exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in various government departments of the state like state administration, state police services, etc. MPPSC 2019 prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 12, 2020. This year a total of 330 vacancies have been announced. Candidates can fill the application form on the official website - mppsc.nic.in .
