MPPSC SET 2024 registration window opens today; exam pattern, eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) will open the registration window for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 today, March 21. Interested candidates will be able to fill the MPPSC SET 2024 registration form through the official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in.

Candidates will be able to register for MPPSC SET 2024 till April 20. The commission will open the application correction window on March 27. Candidates will be able to make changes in their MPPSC SET 2024 registration form during this period. The MPPSC SET application 2024 correction window will close on April 22.

Candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in related subject with minimum of 55% marks to apply for MPPSC SET 2024. Apart from this there is no age limit to apply for the MP SET 2024 exam.

MP SET 2024 application fees

Candidates belonging to Scheduled cast, Scheduled Tribe, Other backward class, EWS and Disabled category native candidates of MP have to pay the MPPSC application fees of Rs 250. While, general category candidates and who are residents outside of MP will pay the MPPSC SET 2024 application fee of Rs 500.

MP SET 2024 exam pattern

The MP SET will consist of two papers General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude, and Selected subject. The MPPSC SET paper 1 will be of 1 hour duration worth 100 marks and paper 2 will be held for 2 hour duration worth 200 marks.

To clear the written examination, unreserved category candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 40 per cent in both papers, while reserved category candidates will be required to score a minimum of 35 per cent to pass the exam.
