NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 26: The Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) has published the final timetable for SSC and HSC exams to be held in 2019. As per the Maharashtra date sheet, SSC exams will be conducted from March 1, 2019, till March 22, 2019, and HSC exams will be held from February 21, 2019, till March 20, 2019.
Earlier, the Maharashtra Board has released a provisional timetable on October 5, 2018, which is the same as now. MSBSHE has also published a separate date sheet for students who would be repeating their exam based on the old syllabus.
The Maharashtra Board exam will be conducted in two slots- Morning slot 11 am to 2 pm and evening slot 3 pm to 6 pm. The HSC exam will start with the paper for English subject and SSC will begin with first language paper. The admit card will be released online in January for both class 10 and 12.
Maharashtra HSC exam would be held for 100 marks, of which 80 are for theory and 20 for internal assessment. The SSC exam is held for 100 marks, except for mathematics and science which are held for 150 marks.
According to the reports, more than 13 lakhs students appear for HSC exam and around 17 lakhs for SSC exam. The result of Maharashtra Board will be declared in the last week of May 2019.
