NEW DELHI: The Council of Architecture has successfully conducted the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for first attempt on August 29 in two shifts. The exam was conducted from 10 am to 12 noon under the first shift and from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm in online mode. This time due to the pandemic situation, the authorities provided the aspirants with a choice to appear from their homes, while the exam was conducted at the respective exam centres as well.

As many expected, students experienced crowding at the NATA exam centres, however social distancing was maintained inside the exam centres. For the exam from home, candidates complained of technical issues but the authorities did not ensure quick redressal. For better understanding of how the exam went, check below:

NATA 2020 Exam Analysis

The NATA question paper was divided into two parts wherein 45 questions were in the first part while 10 questions in the second part.

Mathematics - Talking about the difficulty level in the Mathematics section, there were no questions that could be regarded as totally unexpected. As there is no negative marking, attempting the section was not that troubling.

General Aptitude - In this section, there were some confusing statements that twisted around which made it difficult to get the essence. Those with remarkable analytical skills found the section tricky yet interesting.

Drawing - The part 2 totally consisted of drawing questions with somewhat confusing figures which many found to be difficult.
