National Educational Technology Forum signs 14 agreements to upskill, digitalize education

Prominent stakeholders unite to drive educational excellence through technology at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023.

NEW DELHI: The National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) signed agreements with 14 organizations from various industry domains in India to enhance employability through upskilling, reskilling, placement, internships, digital infrastructure, workshops and certifications.

The agreement was signed during the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023 which was held to commemorate the third anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on July 29 and 30.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan; Subhas Sarkar, Minister of State for Education; Prof T G Sitharam, chairman, AICTE; Professor Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, NETF and Buddha Chandrasekhar, CCO, NEAT, AICTE.

AICTE's official release reads: "This collaborative initiative marks the establishment of the National Educational Technology Forum (NETF), aiming to revolutionize the education sector through the power of technology. The forum will bridge the gap between education and technology, promoting synergy between educators, policymakers, and industry leaders."

By providing a platform for sharing ideas, resources and expertise, NETF will make the development of innovative educational technologies and best practices. Its ultimate goal is to ensure that all learners have equal access to quality education, thus revolutionizing the education landscape through the power of technology.
