NBE releases exam dates of FMGE 2019, PDCET 2020, NEET MDS 2020, NEET PG 2020

New Delhi, September 17 - In a public notice released on September 16, National Board of Education has released the important dates on which the upcoming exams are to be conducted. The notice released contains dates of the computer-based exams that are conducted by NBE, like FMGE 2019 (December), PDCET 2020 (January), NEET MDS 2020, NEET PG 2020. It is further informed by the authorities that other details pertaining to the examinations like, information bulletin and schedule, will be released soon on the official website (nbe.edu.in).

FMGE 2019 (December)

FMGE, a biannual examination, is a screening test conducted by NBE which provides Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India with a provisional/ permanent registration certificate to practice medicine in India. Candidates who qualify the exam are issued a registration certificate from the Medical Council of India or their respective State Medical Council (SMC). Such candidates must also clear FMGE if they wish to pursue higher studies in the discipline of medicine. The application process for the December session of FMGE is likely to commence in the second week of October 2019.

PDCET 2020 (January)

The examination of PDCET is conducted for admission to post-diploma DNB which is a two years postgraduate course. It is a computer-based entrance exam and is essential for candidates who seek admission in DNB Broad Specialities.

NEET MDS 2020

Aspirants who wish to pursue Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in India have to mandatorily qualify NEET MDS exam. Qualifying NEET MDS opens the gate to seats offered in government/private dental colleges of India. The online registration for NEET MDS will tentatively begin from the second week of October 2019. All those medical aspirants who fulfil eligibility criteria of the exam can register for the same until the second week of November 2019 (tentative).

NEET PG 2020

Held annually, NEET-PG, is conducted for admissions of medical aspirants to the medical colleges in the country. Aspirants who complete their graduation and wish to pursue their postgraduate course in the same field are required to qualify this examination. NEET PG is held in around 51 exam cities nationwide. Registration for the examination will begin in the first week of November 2019 (tentatively).
