NEW DELHI: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has decided to offer 28 online courses for students of Classes 11 and 12 subjects on the SWAYAM MOOCs portal. The last date to register for the online courses through the SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active- Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) portal is March 31, 2022.

Earlier, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in January released a notice regarding the enrolment to the NCERT SWAYAM courses for Classes 11 and 12.

The NCERT SWAYAM courses enrollment began on December 20, 2021, at ciet.nic.in/swayam-moocs.php. In the current cycle, the NCERT is offering 28 MOOCs in 11 subjects till May 31, 2022.

Students can follow the five steps given below to register for NCERT SAWYAM courses for Classes 11 and 12.
The NCERT SWAYAM courses for Class 11 include accountancy, biology, chemistry, economics, geography, mathematics, physics, sociology, psychology. Class 12 MOOCs include subjects like biology, business studies, chemistry, English, geography, maths, physics, sociology, psychology.

The ministry of education launched a platform for offering MOOCs that is popularly known as SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) on July 09, 2017. NCERT has been offering online courses for the School Education system in 11 subject areas for Classes 11 and 12.
