NEW DELHI: Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of MCC has commenced the NEET UG counselling 2020 registrations round one on October 28 at Eligible candidates are required to register for NEET counselling 2020 and provide their choice of course and college until November 2. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in all government medical and dental colleges. 100% seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutes. Aspirants can apply for NEET 2020 counselling by following the below-mentioned steps.

How to register for NEET 2020 Counselling?

Candidates can know the complete process and apply for NEET-UG counselling 2020 by following the instructions mentioned below.

  • Visit the official website and click on the "new registration" tab.

  • Candidates will have to enter their roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on the scorecard for NEET 2020 counselling registration.

  • Pay the NEET counselling fee in online mode through Credit/Debit card or internet banking.

  • Fill the choice of course and give preferences to the college/institute. Please note that there is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill.

  • After entering the choices, candidates need to lock the choices before the mentioned date. If any candidate fails to fo so, the choices will be locked automatically on the last date.

  • The authorities will then release the seat allotment list for NEET 2020, aspirants can check which college is allotted to them in the allotment list.

  • In the final step, candidates will have to report to the allotted college with their NEET allotment letter 2020 to complete the admission formalities.

Why is NEET counselling 2020 conducted?

On the basis of NEET 2020 counselling registration details, choices filled, seats available in colleges, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc & AH will be offered in colleges of India.
