NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the provisional result of the first round of NEET counselling 2020 on November 6. A total of 17,777 students have been allotted seats in the first round of NEET counselling. The authorities will declare the final round one result of NEET 2020 counselling on November 7. In the meantime, in case of any discrepancy in the result declared, the applicants can contact MCC on their official email id mccresultquery@gmail.com.

NEET UG 2020 counselling is conducted for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed/Central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. Candidates can check the result on the official MCC website www.mcc.nic.in in PDF format. NEET UG counselling round one and choice filling started on October 28, 2020, and the last date to apply was November 2. The choice filling facility, however, was extended till 08:00 AM of November 4, 2020. The counselling was conducted in an online mode.

Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to download NEET 2020 seat allotment letter released along with their final result and report to the allotted medical or dental college from November 6 to 12, 2020.
Students who are not satisfied with the college allotted to them in round one of NEET counselling can apply for upgradation in the second round and at the same time freeze the seat allotted to them in round 1 of counselling.
Aspirants who have not been allotted any seat in the first round are directly eligible for the second round of NEET counselling.
The registrations for the second round of NEET 2020 counselling will start from November 18 and will go on till November 22. The results for the same will be declared on November 25. NEET 2020 was successfully conducted on September 13, 2020, by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and veterinary courses across the country.
