NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has delayed the process of NEET counselling round one. The notification by MCC mentions that the seat processing for counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET has been delayed. Therefore, aspirants can stay tuned to the official website - mcc.nic.in. The first round processing of NEET seat allotment was expected to start from November 3 to 4, 2020, while the result was expected to be announced on November 5.

NEET 2020 counselling registration and choice filling round one has started from October 28 to November 2. Only the NEET qualified candidates are allowed to participate in counselling for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed/Central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER.
The process and seat allotment of NEET 2020 have been delayed. The one-line notice on MCC website mentions, “The Seat processing for round -1 of UG Counseling 2020 has been delayed. Please Stay in touch with the website for updates on declaration of Result.”
The processing of seat allotment is followed by release of NEET counselling result. Therefore, the announcement of first round allotment result has been postponed, which was supposed to be declared on November 5, 2020. Check the one-line notice on MCC NEET allotment process.
The results for round one of NEET counselling will be announced in online mode at mcc.nic.in. Aspirants who have registered themselves and filled their choices, within the specified schedule will be allotted MBBS/BDS seat. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of NEET rank, choices filled, seats available in a college, reservation criteria and other factors.
Candidates who will be allotted a seat in the first round of counselling must report at the designated colleges. The shortlisted aspirants must carry the relevant documents, NEET seat allotment letter and other required documents at the institute for completion of admission process.
