NEW DELHI, August 22: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the next academic session on August 21. The authority will conduct the exam on May 3, 2020. Unlike last year, the dates for NEET application form 2020 have been pushed a month further. Eligible candidates will be able to fill the online registration form of NEET from December 2 to 31, 2019. Those candidates who will successfully submit the application form will be issued the admit card on March 27, 2020, onwards. The result of the entrance exam will be released on June 4, 2020. More than 15 lakh candidates had registered for NEET 2019 and it is likely that registration for NEET2020 may increase significantly.
NTA has announced the key dates for all the examinations conducted by it. Along with the declaration of dates, NTA has released all public exam conducting authorities to avoid a clash of dates in the interest of candidates.

As per NEET 2020 latest news, NTA has also lifted the fog on speculations regarding the medium in which NEET 2020 will be conducted. NTA NEET 2020, going by the tradition, will be conducted in pen and paper-based mode. In a duration of 3 hours, medical aspirants will have to attempt 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates will be marked out of the maximum marks of 720.
NEET is the biggest undergraduate medical entrance test qualifying which opens the gate to 75,893 MBBS and 26,693 BDS seats offered in various medical and dental colleges in the country. Admission to AYUSH and B.Sc. Veterinary courses are also taken on the basis of NEET scores. Candidates who wish to study medicine abroad are also required to qualify NEET. For such candidates, the score of NEET will remain valid for a duration of 3 years.
