As per the NTA NEET 2021 marking scheme, each correct answer will be awarded four marks and each incorrect answer will deduct one mark. Once the students verify their answer, they should calculate their score as per the below mentioned formula.
Formula to calculate NEET score
NEET scores = total correct answers X 4 - total wrong answers X 1 |
Students should count the total correct and incorrect answers, after that multiply total correct answers by 4 and total wrong answers by 1. And subtract the total wrong attempts from the total correct answers and you will get the NEET expected score.
After the release of the answer key, NTA will release the NEET OMR sheet which will display the answers marked by the students in the exam. Candidates can match their marked answers with the answer key. Later, NEET 2021 result will be announced along with the cutoff. Before the result, NEET phase 2 registration will begin to ensure that candidate data is submitted quickly and safely.
