NEW DELHI: India’s single largest medical entrance exam, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is all set to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 12, 2021. It is very important for aspirants appearing for NEET 2021 exam to avoid some common mistakes on the exam day.

The NEET exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode, and NTA has released detailed exam day guidelines to be followed by students along with the NEET 2021 admit card.

On the NEET 2021 exam date, candidates often make some most common mistakes due to anxiety and nervousness, which may cost them some marks. Candidates appearing for the medical entrance exam should remain calm and can check the mistakes that should be avoided on the NEET 2021 exam day.

Assemble all the important documents for the NEET 2021 exam

To avoid any kind of inconvenience, aspirants should assemble all their necessary documents required for NEET 2021 at least prior to the exam day. These necessary documents generally include - NEET admit card with the self-declaration form, a passport and postcard size photograph, and valid identity proof.

Have a better sleep before the exam day

It is generally seen that owing to anxiety, candidates are unable to sleep a day before the exam. Most of the aspirants try to revise as many details as possible just a night before the exam thereby resulting in a lack of sleep. The absence of sound sleep slows down the active mind on exam day. So, the subject matter experts highly advise that candidates must sleep well so that they can feel fresh on NEET 2021 exam day.

Reach the NEET examination centre on time

It is mandatory for aspirants to reach the NEET 2021 exam centre on time. One should leave from their home according to their allotted time in the release NEET admit card 2021. No one will not be allowed to appear for the NEET-UG exam if they report after the gates are closed. Candidates are usually advised to visit their NEET test centre a day before the exam to get familiar with the distance and time to reach the centre.

Complete the procedure of document verification

Before the candidate enters the NEET 2021 exam hall, he or she needs to get their documents verified at the entry gate. This verification process includes getting the NEET 2021 admit card and valid photo identity proof being checked at the test centre. It must be noted that the details in the identification card should match with the admit card.

The documents should be presented in original at the test centre so that there is no kind of impersonation.

NEET exam will be conducted for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc seats across India. The scores of NEET 2021 will also be used for BSc Nursing and BSc Life Science courses.
