NEW DELHI: Every year lakhs of students appear for the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test (NEET) to get admission to under-graduate medical seats in India. This year for NEET 2021 the exam is expected to be conducted in the month of June, however, the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the concerned authorities have not yet confirmed the exam date. With no clarity on the syllabus reduction, teachers and students have repeatedly raised requests on Twitter.
As syllabus cut and some relaxations were announced for Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) board exam and JEE Main respectively, medical aspirants are asking Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ or NTA to give clarity on NEET 2021 syllabus reduction. These are the crucial months of preparation and uncertainty on the NEET 2021 syllabus has created unnecessary hassle in the mind of medical aspirants.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released or made any official announcement regarding the syllabus of NEET 2021. For now, aspirants are advised to avoid fake news or rumors related to a reduction in the NEET syllabus. As of now, NTA will be conducting NEET 2021 in offline mode, admission will be granted to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH, and 525 veterinary seats. The exact dates of NEET 2021 are yet to be announced.
