Solve previous year questions and take NEET mock test

Solve the previous years’ NEET question papers and mock test after the revision is done, said the academic head of TIME coaching, Anand Nagarajan.

Focus on conceptual knowledge

According to the subject matter experts, students should revise the NEET's important topics and chapters. He said, “As we see few year’s records, nearby 80% to 85% of the questions asked in the NEET-UG exam taken from NCERT and the remaining 15 to 20% of the questions asked on the basis of NCERT topics which need conceptual knowledge in depth, which will be beyond the scope of NCERT."

Don’t revise new topics

  • NEET candidates are advised not to take new and additional topics for revision, says Surendra Babu Vikarma from Sri Chaitanya. He added, it is the time to revise the previous knowledge and concepts.

NEET 2021: Last-minute preparation tips by toppers

  • In the last NEET preparation, Malleedi Rushith, AIR-33 rank holder said that he used to go through the underlined topics and concepts. He prepared a few notes which helped him during the last minute preparations.

  • Guthi Chaitanya Sindhu, last year NEET topper said, “In the last few days of NEET preparations, I used to revise from NCERT books regularly.”

  • Overlook formulas - Just go through all the formulas, diagrams, graphs and tables while revising the important topics of NEET 2021. As per the experts, the questions related to diagrams, graphs and tables are the most scoring ones.

  • Know the instruction during the exam- NTA releases the official notification regarding the exam, go through that information which will help aspirants during the exam. Due to nervousness and exam-stress, Students can make some common mistakes during the NEET 2021 exam date, which can be avoided by adhering to the NEET exam day guidelines.
