NEW DELHI, April 13:  The admit card of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to be released on April 15, 2019, by National Testing Agency (NTA). The admit card to appear for the common medical entrance exam will be available on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Only the registered candidates can download the hall ticket till the NEET exam date i.e. May 5. Admit card of NEET 2019 is an essential document to be carried at the exam centre along with the passport size photograph, valid ID proof and PH certificate (if applicable). No one will be allowed to appear for MBBS/BDS entrance exam without the hall ticket. 

NEET 2019, a pen and paper based test will be held for three hours from 2 to 5 PM across the country in 11 languages including, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Odiya, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Since only a day is left for admit card to be issued, aspirants can check the important points which they must remember while downloading the admit card.

1. Enter correct details

Due to hustle, the medical students might enter an incorrect details on the NEET admit card release date, which later on leads to worry. Therefore, aspirants are advised not to panic and enter the required credentials with a peace of mind.

2. Website may not work

On the day of release of hall ticket, considering the number of applicants trying to download it simultaneously, candidates may experience a lag while downloading the admit card due to heavy traffic on the NTA website. It is advisable not to panic and try again later. Aspirants will be able to download the NEET admit card till May 5.

3. Verify the details carefully

It is also suggested to verify the details printed on the admit card like name, parent’s name, date and time of exam, name and address of test centre allotted, signature, photograph among others. 

As per the previous experiences, after downloading the admit card, many students report their doubts regarding the changes in the exam centre allotted or any other grievances. It must be noted that the NEET test centre once allotted will not be changed, under any circumstances. 

However, in case of discrepancy in the spelling of name, interchange of parent’s name, photograph or signature and others, NEET test takers must immediately contact the NTA authorities through the helpline and email mentioned below.

4. Other common details on NEET admit card 2019 UG

Along with the above mentioned points, the students should also take care of the other common mistakes which might occur while or after downloading the hall ticket.

  • Paste the passport size photograph on the admit card in front of invigilator only. The photograph to be affixed and carried at the centre should be the same as used in the application form.

  • It is mandatory to get the signature of parents on the admit card. This ensures that the parent of an aspirant will maintain the adherence of exam.

  • The medical test takers should also read the instruction page available with the admit card. They should also follow these instructions and dress code while attending the NEET exam.

NEET 2019 to be conducted for admission to around 93.919 MBBS and BDS courses offered by government, private, deemed and central universities across India. From the year 2018, the admission to AYUSH and veterinary courses will also be done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET. The application process was open from November 1 to December 7, 2018. With a growth of 14.4% of registrations, a total of 15.19 lakh candidates have registered for NEET 2019. Earlier, as many as 13,26,725 aspirants wrote the NEET 2018 exam, while only 11.38 lakh registrations were received for the year 2017.
