NEET correction window 2020 to open anytime soon at ntaneet.nic.in

New Delhi: The facility of application form correction window for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be available anytime soon on ntaneet.nic.in. As per the NTA official brochure, NEET 2020 correction window will open from January 15, with no time specified. However, it is expected that NTA will open the facility of correction in the evening after 5:00 PM. In case of any delay in the availability of NEET registration correction facility, students will be notified. Therefore, aspirants are advised to stay tuned to Careers360 for the latest news and updates on NEET.

It should be noted that NEET correction window 2020 is open now. Except for registered mobile number and email ID, candidates can edit all the other details using the correction window.

It is to be informed that the last date for correcting the fields in registration form is January 31, 2020, after which no modifications will be entertained. Only the successfully registered aspirants will be issued the admit cards for NTA NEET from March 27, onwards.

How to use NEET correction 2020 facility?

• Go to the official website - ntaneet.nic.in

• In the candidate login, enter the application number and password

• Link mentioning “Click here for corrections in NEET application form” will be displayed

• NEET form will be provided in the next page to edit/modify or delete the details

• Cross-check the details checked and take 2-3 printouts for the references

Note: In case of any errors, NTA have notified the registered applicants through email ID or SMS regarding the re-uploading of scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature and other relevant documents. Students are also advised to re-upload and edit the details on or before the last date.

Why is the NEET correction 2020 process important?

The details filled in the application forms for NEET will be considered for the entire admission process. Name, category, mobile number, email ID, date of birth, Class 10/11/12 details, address, uploaded documents, dress code, qualification code and other information will be mentioned in the NEET admit card.

Also the printout of the corrected application form will be required at every stage of the admission process. Any discrepancy in the details will lead to the cancellation of candidature. Since, NEET correction window is a one-time opportunity, therefore students are advised to edit/delete the details carefully.

NEET 2020 exam will be conducted on May 3, for admission to 76,928 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,729 AYUSH and 525 BVSc seats offered by medical, dental. AYUSH and veterinary colleges of India. From the year 2020, admissions to 1205 AIIMS MBBS and 200 JIPMER MBBS seats will be done on the basis of NEET scores. It is also mandatory to qualify NEET for candidates who wish to study MBBS abroad.
