NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test- Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 today, March 18. The NEET MDS 2024 exam will be conducted in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 pm across 56 exam cities.

Candidates who are appearing for the exam can download the NEET MDS 2024 admit card by visiting the official website, natboard.edu.in. To download the NEET MDS 2024 admit card, candidates should use their login credentials, including their registration number and date of birth.

The NEET MDS 2024 admit card carries details including the candidate's name, parent's name, date of birth, address, category, exam date, exam time, reporting time, NEET MDS roll number, name and address of the exam centre.

The NEET MDS 2024 examination is conducted for admission to approximately 6,228 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats available in 259 dental colleges across the country.

NEET MDS 2024: Eligibility criteria

NEET MDS 2024 eligibility criteria are given below.

  • The applicant must not be younger than 20 years of age.

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a DCI-approved university or institute.

  • Candidates should also have a provisional or permanent registration certification issued by the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC).

  • Candidates should also complete a 12-month mandatory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2024.

NEET MDS 2024: Exam pattern

The NEET MDS 2024 entrance exam carries 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into Parts A and B. Part A comprises 100 questions, while Part B comprises 140 questions. Each question carries four marks, and there is a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates will be allotted three hours to complete the exam.
