The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has opened the application window for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2026). Eligible candidates can fill the NEET MDS 2026 application form on the official website, nbe.edu.in.
Candidates will be able to apply for the NEET MDS 2026 examination till March 30, up to 11:55 pm. To complete the NEET MDS 2026 application form, general, OBC, and EWS candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 3,500, while candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories will be required to pay Rs 2,500.
As per the NEET MDS 2026 schedule, the NEET MDS application correction window will open on April 21, and candidates will be allowed to edit their NEET MDS form by April 22. The computer-based test will be conducted on May 2 in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm, and the exam duration will be three hours.
The admit card for the NEET MDS exam 2026 will be issued on April 29. The NEET MDS result will be announced on June 2.
To fill the NEET MDS 2026 application form, candidates need scanned copies of a passport-size photo, signature, left-thumb impression, BDS passing certificate or provisional degree, internship completion certificate (by July 31, 2026), dental registration certificate, and a valid ID proof.
Candidates who have completed a BDS degree from a college recognised by the Dental Council of India and have a provisional or permanent registration certificate from the DCI or a State Dental Council can apply for NEET MDS 2026. They must also complete their 12-month internship on or before May 31, 2026.
Candidates must be Indian citizens. NRI, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and People of Indian Origin (PIOs) can also apply for NEET MDS 2026.
According to the NEET MDS 2026 exam pattern, the question paper will have two parts with a total of 240 questions: Part A (100 questions, 75 minutes) and Part B (140 questions, 105 minutes).
Candidates will not be allowed to move to the next part until the time given for the current part is over. Once the time for Part A ends, they will not be able to review it or make any changes.
Candidates will get four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
