NEW DELHI: Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the final result of mop-up round counsellinng for NEET PG and MDS to July 23, 2020. As per the public notice, PG and MDS result for mop-up round have been delayed due to the verification issue of I.P. University candidates and time taken at the university level.

On July 21, 2020, the provisional NEET PG/MDS 2020 counselling result has been released for admission to deemed and central universities/institutes. As per the provisional result, a total of 1,166 candidates for PG medical and 117 aspirants for PG dental seats have been shortlisted.
MCC has delayed in releasing the mop-up round final result and downloading of allotment letter for shortlisted candidates due to IP university. Check the official notice for postponing NEET PG/MDS 2020 result.
Also, the notice mentions that to facilitate students selected for mop-up round during COVID-19 pandemic, MCC has decided to allow candidates for online/offline reporting. The seats of candidates of mop-up round who do not complete their admission process in offline/online mode may be cancelled by the college on the last date of reporting.
The seats will come back in seat allotment process for reversion to dental and central universities for stray vacancy round, which will be held at institute level. Therefore, it is mandatory for aspirants to keep track of NEET PG and MDS mop-up round counselling schedule.
After the completion of mop-up round, the remaining vacant seats will be transferred to respective deemed and central universities for admission at institutional level. The stray vacancy round will be held from July 28 to 31, 2020, in offline mode.
