NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the dates for the mop-up round of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG and MDS (NEET PG and MDS) on July 10. The mop-up round counselling is only conducted for admission to deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes. As per the schedule, the registration for NEET PG/MDS mop-up round will begin from July 13, 2020, for admission to vacant seats in Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), PG Diploma and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. All the official dates released by the authority are mentioned below.

Who can register for NEET PG/MDS mop-up round?
Earlier, MCC has released a clarification over the eligibility of the mop-up round, according to which, aspirants who were allotted seats in round two but did not join are eligible for the mop-up round. However, such aspirants are required to register fresh for the mop-up round by paying the requisite fee.

Enter your stream (medical/dental), exam roll number, application form number, name of the candidate, date of birth, security pin, and other asked details.

Enter personal, academic, NEET PG/MDS, communication, and other asked details.

Pay the fee in the online mode using net banking, credit/debit cards.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After the completion of the registration process it is imperative to take a minimum of two-three print out of the slip for future references.
About Choice Filling & Locking and Seat allotment
After registering for NEET PG/MDS counseling 2020 mop-up round, aspirants are required to fill the choices by clicking on the add '+' button for every option. While filling the choices, aspirants will be able to move the sequence of their options by using the up and down button. It is important to click on the 'save and next' tab to lock your selected options. If someone fails to do so, then the options will automatically be locked.
On the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and NEET PG scores, the authority will release NEET PG/MDS mop-up round counselling result mentioning the names of the candidates. Such candidates will have to report to the allotted college within the given time period.
