NEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced withdrawal of postgraduate seats from five medical colleges and addition of 176 new PG seats for Round 2 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2022 counselling. NEET PG counselling 2022 round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on October 19.

MCC has received information from Prince Aly Khan Hospital; South Western Railway, Central Hospital; MKCG Medical College Hospital, Berhampur MKCG Medical College; Poona Hospital and Research Centre; and Government Vellore Medical College to remove seats from the seat matrix of round 2 of NEET PG counselling 2022.

“The Medical Counselling Committee has received information from following Institutes (List enclosed) about new seats which could not be contributed by the colleges before the start of Round-1 of PG Counselling 2022 as LoPs from NMC were received after the start of Round-1 of counselling. Therefore, the following MD/ MS/ PG DNB seats are being added in the seat matrix of Round-2 of PG Counselling 2022 for the larger interest of candidates,” MCC’s notification read.
