NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to announce the result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 today, September 7 at neet.nt.nic.in. NEET UG 2022 exam was held on July 17 in pen and paper based mode.

NEET 2022: Top medical courses other than MBBS

  • BAMS: BAMS, stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is a 5.5 years duration course. After pursuing the BAMS degree, candidates can become Pharmacist, Dieticians, Gynaecologist, Teacher, Panchkarma Practitioner.

  • BHMS: BHMS, stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is of 5.5 year course to become Homeopathic Doctor, Public Health Specialist, Pharmacist, Teacher or Lecturer after studying this course.

  • BNYS: It stands for Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences. This 5.5 years course can lead the candidates to become a Naturopathy physician, therapist, heath supervisor, consultant, acupuncture, neuro-physiology, or speciality clinics.

  • BUMS: Abbreviated for Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery, BUMS is a 5.5 years course. Students after completing the course can become a scientist, consultant, pharmacist, therapist, drug inspector, medical assistant, or professor.

  • BSc. nursing: Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a 4 years course that makes students capable of becoming a staff nurse, registered nurse (RN), nurse educator, medical coder, registered nurse (RN) - emergency room, or nurse- Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  • BVSc & AH: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry is again a 5.5 years course. Candidates can be a veterinary surgeon, pharmacologist, food inspection specialist, or veterinarian assistant after getting a degree of the same.
