NEET SS 2020 corrigendum released by NBE with three major changes

NEW DELHI: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the Corrigendum to the Information Bulletin for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET SS). The public notice has been released with four major changes in the NEET SS 2020 information bulletin. As per the notice issued, the list of prior entry qualifications for certain Superspecialty courses has been changed for Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses.
All corresponding changes in the Annexure - B and C of information brochure shall be reflected from August 11, 2020, onwards in the online application form for NEET SS 2020. Candidates whose application form has been submitted can edit their preferences of Superspecialty courses during the edit opportunity. NEET SS 2020 correction window will be made available for all candidates on August 24 and 25, 2020.

List of PG courses requires to fulfill eligibility for DM/MCh courses
As per Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000, authorities have made changes in the entry qualifications for certain Superspecialty courses as mentioned in the Annexure – C of the Information Bulletin.

NBE has added two new DM courses to the Annexure - C of the information bulletin making a total of 47 in the list of DM/MCh courses with their prior entry qualifications.

Changes in Annexure - B
As per the NBE official notice, the changes in annexure- C, will be implemented the same in Annexure - B which mentions the list of super-specialty courses and corresponding eligible feeder specialty qualifications.
NEET SS entrance exam
NBE conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) for granting admission to 2,447 DM and MCh seats. On the basis of scores, admission will be granted in 156 DM/MCh private/government medical colleges/universities/deemed universities and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions across India.
