NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 application correction window will open tomorrow, March 18. Successfully registered candidates will be able to edit details in their NEET UG application form 2024 on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. The last date to make corrections is March 20.

NEET UG 2024 recorded over 25 lakh registrations so far, as per report. The exam witnessed an increase of 4.2 lakh applications while 13 lakh of the total registered are female candidates, the report added.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) informed candidates that any additional fees required for corrections must be paid by the candidate through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

"It's important to highlight that final corrections will be applicable only after payment of any additional fees, if required. In cases where changes in Gender, Category, or PwD status affect the fee amount, candidates will be charged any excess fee accordingly. Please note that any excess payments made will not be refunded," NTA added.

How to edit NEET UG 2024 application form?

Students can follow the steps given below to apply for the medical entrance exam:

  • Go to the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
  • Click on the login link
  • Enter your login credentials
  • Edit the details in NEET form 2024
  • Save the changes and pay the extra fee, if any

NTA had earlier said that the changes proposed in the NEET UG 2024 exam have been deferred for the current year following the direction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Medical Commission. There will be no changes in the terms and conditions, however, the exam will be held on the basis of new syllabus notified by NMC only, it said.
