NEST 2020 admit card released at nestexam.in; know details

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) along with the UM-DAE CEBS has released the NEST admit card 2020 on September 2. Candidates can download the admit card on the official website at nestexam.in. In order to download the admit card, candidates have to use their user ID and password in the log in window. Candidates are advised to ensure that every detail which is mentioned on the admit card is correct and must retain it till the admission process finishes.
In case, candidates find that the details mentioned on the NEST admit card are incorrect, then they have to contact the university management officials immediately in order to get the discrepancy rectified. The NEST 2020 will be conducted on September 29, in two different time sessions. The duration of the entrance examination will be three hours and thirty minutes and will be a computer based test.
Candidates must bring the NEST admit card to the test centre along with necessary photo Identity proof failing which they won’t be allowed to sit in the examination hall. The crucial details mentioned on the admit card comprises candidate’s name, date of birth, father’s name, enrollment no, test centre location, reporting time, exam day guideline and instructions, desired programme, and signature. After candidates download the admit card, they have to download and print multiple copies to avoid any hustle later on.
NEST is a national level entrance test which is conducted in order to offer a five-year integrated M.Sc programme in subjects such as Biological, Mathematical, Chemical, Computer, Physical, and Environmental Sciences. The National Institute of Science education and research will be offering 200 seats whereas the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) will offer 57 seats to the aspirants for admissions through this examination.
