NEW DELHI: National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar will begin registration process for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 today, March 20. Interested candidates can register for NEST 2024 examination through the official website, nestexam.in.

Candidates will be able to fill out the NEST 2024 application form till May 31. As per the schedule the NEST 2024 exam will be conducted on June 30 and admit card for that exam will be out on June 15 on the official website.
The NEST 2024 exam will be conducted to fill a total of 200 seats for Integrated MSc programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The NEST 2024 results will be announced on July 10.
NEST 2024 exam pattern
The NEST 2024 exam will be held for 3 hour and 30 minutes duration. The exam will have 68 questions worth 200 marks. There will be four sections in the paper including physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

NEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have cleared the Class 12 exams or equivalent in 2022, 2023 or those appearing in 2024, irrespective of category and age are eligible to apply for NEST 2024. Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class 12 exams from any recognised board to be eligible. However for reserved category candidates such as SC, ST candidates and for Divyang candidates, the minimum requirement is 55%.
