NIACL AO 2019 Mains Exam Begins in Online Mode; Know Details Here

NEW DELHI, MARCH 3: The mains exam of NIACL AO 2019 has begun in online mode. The exam is being conducted by ‘New India Assurance Co. Ltd. (NIACL)’ for the recruitment of candidates in the Administrative Officers (Specialist & Generalist) cadre. As many as 4,785 candidates who have qualified the prelims phase of exam held on January 30, 2019 have appeared for the mains examination.

Only those candidates have been allowed to enter the examination hall who have brought their admit card of the mains exam along with one of the prescribed photo ID proofs - Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license.

NIACL AO mains exam is being held for 2 hours during which candidates are being asked a total of 200 questions from four sections - Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section contains 50 questions of 1 mark each. For each wrong response given by the candidates, ¼ marks are being deducted whereas no deduction is being done for the unanswered questions.

All those candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted for the interview round, the call letter of which will be issued to the candidates on the official website of the examination authority.

The final result of NIACL AO will be announced by taking the combined performance of the candidates in the mains exam and interview. While preparing the final merit list, the weightage given to the marks scored by the candidates in the mains exam and Interview will be 80:20.

NIACL AO exam is conducted in three phases - prelims, mains, and interview. This year, the examination authority has announced to recruit 312 candidates in its Administrative Officers cadre through.
