NID DAT 2026 admit card out on admissions.nid.edu; prelims exam on December 21

The National Institute of Design (NID) has issued the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) admit card 2026 for the prelims exam today, December 11. Candidates can download the NID DAT 2026 admit card through the official website at admissions.nid.edu.

Candidates will have to enter their email address and date of birth to login and download the NID admit card 2026. The admit card will carry details such as the candidate’s name, application number, photograph, signature, exam date, time, and venue, along with items allowed inside the exam centre, and reporting time.

NID DAT 2026 prelims exam is scheduled to be held on December 21. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes at NID campuses across India. Candidates are selected based on their score in the prelims and mains exams.

• Download and take a printout of the admit card to carry it to the exam centre.
• Keep a valid photo ID ready, as it must be presented along with the admit card on the exam day.

The NID DAT 2026 prelims exam is designed to assess candidates' aptitude in design, creativity, observation, and communication skills. The exam will have two sections: Part A and Part B.
