NIFT 2020 Exam Begins, Students without Hard Copy of Admit Card denied Entry

NEW DELHI,JANUARY 19- NIFT 2020 entrance exam which is conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology for admissions to B.Des and B.F.Tech programmes is now being held at different test centres across India. Only the candidates who carried a hard copy of the admit card along with the valid ID proof were allowed inside the test centre. Some students who did not carry hard copy of the admit card were sent back.

NIFT exam is being conducted in 32 cities across India.Nearly 23,000 candidates appear for NIFT entrance exam every year.

Instructions given to students for filling the OMR sheet:

  • Every question has four answer options. Candidates are asked to use a ball point pen to mark the answer by darkening the corresponding oval on the answer sheet.

  • Only one oval should be filled for every question. Filling of more than oval or improper darkening of the same will be treated as wrong answer

  • Candidates are advised not to tear, bend or mutilate the answer sheet.

What after NIFT 2020?

After the written entrance examination,the result will be declared in February/March 2020. On the basis of result of written test GAT and CAT, B.Des candidates will be called for situation test. For B.F.Tech., GAT will be the final test for selection.
