NIOS class 12 exams 2019 to begin from April 2; note these important points

Download NowNEW DELHI, APRIL 1 : NIOS will begin its Senior Secondary exams or NIOS 12th exams from tomorrow i.e April 2, 2019. The first paper to be conducted is of Sanskrit and the timing of the exam will be sharp 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Candidates must not forget to download their admit card and carry it to the examination centre as no one is allowed to sit for the exam without it. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of NIOS. The last exam will be conducted of Computer Science, Environmental Science, Sociology and Bharatiya Darshan subjects on May 4. The exams were earlier scheduled to end on April 29 but got rescheduled on account of elections.

Here’s how you can ace the board exams:

Make sure you have read through the entire syllabus of all subjects. This confirms that you have covered all the units and chapters.

Go through the notes prepared by you while learning. Revising the formulas and other important points will help you remember them during the exam.

Make sure to read the entire question paper carefully before you begin answering any question. This practice helps one to prepare a strategy of finishing the complete paper within the stipulated time.

Attempt those questions FIRST to which you know the complete answers.

Do not spend much time on a single question. Move on to others and come back to it again later.

Spare 15 minutes at the end for revision.
The result of the NIOS 12th April exams will be out in June, 2019.
