NIOS Result 2018 for class 10 and 12 October session to be declared soon

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 15, 2018: National Institute of Open Schooling will declare the NIOS 2018 result soon for the examination which was conducted this year in the month of October. While the NIOS board has not made any announcement in this regard, this can be assumed from the media reports suggesting the declaration of the result for class 10 and 12 anytime soon. As of yet, there is no official confirmation of the result date.

Last year, class 10 result was declared on December 5 while class 12 result was declared on December 6, 2017.

Steps to check the result

The process to check the result for both class 10 and 12 are same.

• Candidates should visit the official website of NIOS that is www.nios.ac.in.

• On the homepage candidates should click on the tab “Result”.

• The link for relevant results will appear. Candidates should check and click according to their required result link for class 10 or 12.

• Then they need to enter their enrollment number.

• After submitting the required details, the result will be displayed on the screen.

The results published cannot be treated as original mark sheets. Candidates should note that the original mark sheets will be issued by their school separately and they shall receive it after the declaration of result. The passing certificate will be issued about six months after the declaration of results.

In case of improvement of performance, candidates can apply again in the subject but only once, provided he/she should have passed in the subject. The better scores would be considered and indicated in the mark sheet.
