NLAT 2020 to be conducted today; BA LLB will have three sessions and LLM a single session

New Delhi: National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Banglore will conduct the National Law Aptitude Test (NLAT) 2020 today; the exam will be conducted in both centre-based and home-proctored mode. The entrance test for the UG programme (for admission to the BA LLB course) is to be conducted in three different sessions, while the exam for PG programme (LLM) will have a single session.

It may be noted that citing delay in the conduct of the CLAT 2020 exam, NLSIU had decided to conduct its own exam (NLAT). Previously the institute used CLAT scores. The institute said that any further delay in the exam would have resulted in ‘Zero Year’ with no admission.

The candidate will be able to check details of the allotted NLAT exam centre 2020, exam slot (or session), and roll number on the NLAT admit card 2020.

What after the conduct of NLAT 2020 exam?

The exam conducting body will release a provisional NLAT answer key 2020 soon after the conclusion of the exam. The provisional NLSIU NLAT answer key will contain official answers to questions asked in the exam. By using the keys mentioned in it, the applicant will be able to calculate probable scores. There will also be a provision to challenge the provisional answer key. The final NLAT 2020 answer key will be released after considering complaints and suggestions forwarded by candidates.

Declaration of NLAT Result 2020

Please note that the declaration of NLAT 2020 result is subject to further orders from the Honourable Supreme Court; a final hearing on the issue is slated for final hearing on September 16.

If and when, NLSIU Bangalore declares the result of NLAT 2020, it should be available in online mode on its official website @ admissions.nls.ac.in. To check their results, the candidate will have to login to the result portal using login credentials. The NLAT 2020 result would include details like the roll number of the candidate, sectional and total marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling cum admission process based on their NLAT scores 2020.
