NLSIU will opts out of CLAT; conducting its own entrance exam
NLSIU opted out of CLAT 2020 exam citing delay in the conduct of the national-level exam, which it said could have resulted in a ‘Zero Year’ with no admission.
As it is no longer a part of CLAT 2020, the university has notified it will not use CLAT 2020 scores for admission purposes. Instead it will use NLAT 2020 scores for admission purposes.
Supreme Court restrains NLSIU from declaring result and conducting admissions based on NLAT
A writ petition has been filed before the apex court challenging the validity of the new exam (NLAT). Once the Supreme Court will give a final judgment on the writ petition, the picture will get clear.
