NLU Meghalaya UAT, PAT 2024 exam guidelines out; admission test on April 13

NEW DELHI: National Law University Meghalaya will conduct undergraduate and postgraduate entrance examinations on April 13. In this regard, the university has issued detailed instructions and exam pattern on the official website, nlumeg.ac.in. The NLU Meghalaya UG admission test (MEG UAT 2024) and PG admission test (MEG PAT 2024) for international candidates will be conducted on April 20.

As per the exam pattern, the NLU Meghalaya UAT, PAT 2024 exams will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and will carry 100 questions. All questions will carry equal marks and there will be no negative marking.

The university informed that the exam will be conducted on the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) on the LMS. The exam will be administered in 19 exam cities including 6 exam cities abroad.

For both UG and PG admission in NLU Meghalaya, candidates will have to qualify the admission test and personal interview. Students will be marked on the following criteria in the interview round - general proficiency and aptitude, communication abilities, Statement of Purpose (SoP), interest to pursue the field, knowledge of the subject.

Guidelines to be followed during exam

The university has also issued guidelines to be followed during the online exam.

  • The application ID is the username and password is Exam@ followed by your date of birth (DDMMYYYY); in this format.
  • Candidates will be able to navigate back to the previous question to edit using the navigation table with question number.
  • After the 100th question, candidates can click to any other question number in the quiz navigation table and keep continuing with attempts or click on the ‘Finish attempt’ button.
  • Once all questions are answered, they will have to click on the ‘Submit all and finish’ button.

“If you experience any technical problems (for example Computer hangs or freeze) during the online examination , you must immediately contact one of the invigilators.The invigilator will call for technical support,” it said.
