NEW DELHI: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Odisha has announced the provisional National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Odisha result 2023 today, May 2, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check NMMS result 2023 Odisha PDF on the official website – scertodisha.nic.in. Odisha NMMS examination was conducted on February 2, 2023.

Along with the SCERT Odisha NMMS result 2023, the council has also released a list of provisionally selected candidates. According to the merit list, a total of 3,310 candidates have been provisionally selected for NMMS Odisha 2023.

A total number of 3,314 scholarships will be distributed among 30 districts. There will be district-wise reservation of scholarships for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), SEBC and physically-handicapped category candidates. Selected candidates will receive a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month for four years from Class 9 to Class 12.

NMMS Exam Result 2023 Odisha: Steps to check

  • Visit the official website - scertodisha.nic.in
  • Click on the ‘NTSE/NMMS’ tab
  • Now, click on ‘View NMMS provisional result’
  • Now, enter application number and date of birth and click on ‘submit’
  • Download the NMMS result 2023 8th class and take the printout for future reference

“The qualifying mark for General and SEBC is 40% in aggregate of both of the papers, i.e., MAT and SAT. For reserved category (SC, ST, PH), this qualifying mark is 32% in aggregate of both papers. The Merit List shall be prepared taking the total marks in both the papers secured by the candidate,” read NMMS Odisha guidelines.

For renewal of scholarship, selected students will have to submit their continuance certificate and mark sheet of last annual examination in the concerned school every year, after opening of the National Scholarship Portal NSP. Otherwise, they will be exempted from getting their scholarship.
