'No error in ICSE Class 10 chemistry paper': CISCE secretary
ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Exam: Many students and teachers had contended that the second question in the ICSE Class 10 chemistry paper was incorrect.

NEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 semester 2 chemistry exam today. Many students and teachers had contended that the second question in the ICSE Class 10 chemistry paper was incorrect. But responding to Careers360, the CISCE secretary Gerry Arathoon said that there was no error in the Class 10 Chemistry paper.

The CISCE official also confirmed that the board has not received any complaints regarding such an error in the ICSE Class 10 chemistry paper. "The council could not find any error in the Class 10 Chemistry paper, and have not received any complaints though," Arathoon said.

The chemistry class 10 ICSE exam was held between 11 am and 12:30 pm. The paper carried 40 marks and students were supposed to attend all questions from section A and any three from section B. The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 chemistry exam was also held on today.
