NEW DELHI: The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has begun the application process for recruitment of executive trainees based on the valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam. The last date to fill out the NPCIL application form is April 30.

The NPCIL recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 400 posts. Candidates will be recruited for the posts of executive trainees in mechanical, chemical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and civil disciplines.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE scores from 2022, 2023, or 2024 and will subsequently be called for a personal interview. Eligible candidates should fill out the NPCIL application form by visiting the official website at npcil.careers.co.in.

As per the official notice, male candidates from unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS) and other backward classes (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the NPCIL exam 2024. Candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disability (PWD), and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.

The NPCIL Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria given below before applying for the NPCIL recruitment exam 2024.

Age limit: The upper age limit for candidates from general categories should be 26 years old as of April 30, 2024. Age relaxation criteria applicable for reserved category candidates.

Education qualification:

  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B Tech), Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from an institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the University Grants Commission (UGC).

  • Candidates who have completed a 5-year integrated course leading to a Master of Technology (M.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks can also.

  • Candidates who are awaiting their final results and/or are appearing for the final year/semester examination during 2024, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply.
