NTA Announced CSIR UGC NET December 2019 and June 2020 Dates; Test to be Held in Online Mode Now On

NEW DELHI , AUGUST 22 : National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification stating the dates of CSIR UGC NET 2019 December session exam. Along with it, the authority has also announced the exam dates for the CSIR UGC NET 2020 June session exam. As per the notice, the registration for CSIR UGC NET 2019 December exam will commence from September 9 and will end on October 9. The test will be held on December 15, the admit card of which will be available by December 9, 2019.
For CSIR UGC NET June 2020 examination, the registration process will begin from March 16 and will be done till April 15, 2020. The June 2020 exam of CSIR UGC NET will be held on June 21. The table below contains the detailed schedule for CSIR UGC NET December 2019 and June 2020 examination.

What’s New in CSIR UGC NET
As per the notice, this time the test will be conducted by National Testing Agency for the first time, which was earlier conducted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The test was then conducted in offline mode but henceforth, the exam will be held in Computer Based Mode (CBT) which is being done for the time for CSIR UGC NET.
CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidate as Lecturers and to award Junior Research Fellowship. The test is held of five subjects - Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Chemical Sciences
