NTA introduces mobile app for JEE Main 2019 mock test

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 5: National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a mock test mobile app for JEE Main 2019 through which students can practice or take tests on their computers or smartphones.  Moreover, In order to ensure that no student is disadvantaged due to lack of resources, NTA has established a network of more than 4000 Test Practice Centres (TPCs) to acquaint the aspirants, especially those from rural areas with Computer-Based Tests (CBTs). This information was given by the Minister of State (HRD), Dr. Satya Pal Singh in a written reply to a Lok Sabha question.

Students across the country can register themselves online at NTA Website or ‘NTA Students App’ for visiting the TPCs. These services provided by the authorities are free of cost for students.

As per the official figures, so far, more than one lakh students have registered at these TPCs and more than one crore students have benefited from these ‘App & Web’ services.  

From 2019 onwards, NTA is conducting JEE Main 2019 in CBT mode only. The first attempt of JEE Main 2019, for both Paper-1 and 2 was conducted from January 8 to 12. The second attempt of JEE Main will be conducted between April 6 to 20 in different slots.

The application form for JEE Main 2019 April session will be issued on February 8. The last date to apply for JEE Main April session is March 7. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main first attempt can also apply for the second attempt.
