NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency is expected to announce there result of the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam soon. Conducted from June 23 to 29, the Joint Entrance Examination Main is a national-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate engineering. It also serves as the screening test for admission to the premier Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) - only those who score above the IIT JEE cutoffs for different categories of candidates will be eligible to write the entrance test for IITs - JEE Advanced 2022.

The IIT JEE cut-offs had risen rather sharply from 2019 to 2020 but dropped again in 2021.

The JEE Main 2022 qualifying cutoff will be announced along with the NTA JEE session 2 results. A number of factors influence the rise and fall of cut-off scores.

JEE Main 2022: Previous years' NTA JEE Main qualifying cutoff

Given below are the JEE Main cut-offs for the previous few years by the category of the student - unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes.


























The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2022 session 2 exam from July 21 to 30. Those who wish to appear for the NTA JEE Main 2022 session 2 will be able to apply online. The JEE Main 2022 registration has already closed but the NTA has notified that the application form-filling process will be reopened after session ! JEE Main result 2022 declaration . The application form of JEE Main 2022 will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main scores will be used for admission in 31 National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Indian Institutes of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and 29 government-funded institutions.
