Gurugam: National Testing Agency (NTA) closes the NEET 2020 application process today. Candidates who wish to appear for the NEET entrance exam on May 3, 2020, should hurry up and fill the application form at ntaneet.nic.in by 11:50 PM. Only those aspirants who had successfully completed step I of NEET registration are allowed to complete the step II, III & IV of filling the application form, uploading of documents, payment of fees and confirmation page.

NTA, on February 1, 2020, with an official notice has announced that after receiving numerous requests from the registered applicants due to the incompleteness of the NEET 2020 application form, the authority has decided to re-open the application form process window for the one last time till February 9, 2020.

Note: NEET aspirants should note that this is the last time opportunity to complete the NTA NEET application process, therefore, they must fill the form with utmost care.

Here’s how to fill the NEET 2020 application form?

Aspirants who have completed just step I are required to complete their application process by following the step stated below.

Step II: Fill NEET application form 2020

Aspirants should fill all the necessary details required in the application form such as:

  • Personal details

  • Place of birth

  • Choice of the language of question paper

  • Only one choice of examination centre

  • Academic details of Class 10, 11 and 12

Step III: Upload all the scanned images/documents

Candidates must upload all the demanded documents/photographs such as:

  1. Passport photograph- Between 10 KB to 200 KB in JPEG format.

  2. Scanned signature- Between 4 KB to 30 KB in JPG format

  3. Class 10 certificate- Should be in JPG format between 100 KB and 300 KB.

  4. Left-hand thumb impression- Must be on a white paper with blue ink in JPG format between 10 KB and 50 KB.

  5. Postcard size photo- Between 50KB and 300 KB in JPG format

Step IV: Pay the NEET 2020 application fee

Applicants need to pay the fee online through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider. All the applicants are advised to keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.

The application fee for General/OBC Candidates is Rs 1,500; for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL* Rs 1400; and for SC/ST/PH Candidates Rs 800

With 15.93 lakh candidates already registered for NEET 2020, the number of registration might go up after the re-opening of the application form process. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted on May 3, 2020, for admission to 76,928 MBBS, 24,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, 1205 AIIMS and 200 JIPMER seats. Successfully registered candidates should stay tuned for the NEET 2020 admit card which will be released on March 27, 2020.
