NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET 2020 result at ntaneet.nic.in on October 16, 2020. Candidates who will qualify in the NTA NEET result by securing the minimum required cutoff percentile will be eligible for the counselling which will be conducted in two types- All India NEET 2020 counselling, which will be held for 15% of the seats in all government colleges of the country as well as the prescribed quota under the Central Universities and 100% of the seats in deemed universities. And, State-wise NEET counselling 2020 which will be held for the 85% of the remaining government seats as well as 100% of the seats in private colleges. NEET-UG was conducted on September 13 & then again on October 14 for COVID-19 candidates for admission to 80,055, MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH seats in top medical colleges in India.

NEET 2020 All India Rank (AIR)

Soon after the declaration of the result, the NTA will release NEET UG over all merit list for All India Quota (AIQ). NEET AIQ merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate's All India Rank. Candidates will be able to check their AIR rank on NEET 2020 result cum scorecard.

NEET 2020 State Rank

On the grounds of the candidate's All India Rank, and his/her domicile, state-wise merit list will be prepared. The State-wise merit list will be considered as state-rank which will be released for each state separately. On the basis of the same, MBBS and BDS admission will be granted through counselling.
