NTA opens UGC NET 2019 and CSIR UGC NET 2019 Application Correction Window

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 18: National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET December sessions. Candidates can edit their application forms from October 18 to 25, 2019. Applicants are invited to make changes in their application form data and they do so on the official websites of the exams. Candidates were able to apply for both the exams from September 9 to October 15, 2019.

How to make corrections in the application forms of UGC NET 2019 and CSIR UGC NET 2019?

Follow the steps given below to make changes using the application correction window -

  • Go to the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in (for UGC NET 2019) or csirnet.nta.nic.in (CSIR UGC NET 2019)

  • Click on the ‘Application Correction’ button under the introduction section

  • Enter application number, password and security pin in the login window that appears

  • Click on the ‘Sign in’ button

  • Edit and save changes.

UGC NET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted from December 2 to 6 while CSIR UGC NET 2019 will be conducted on December 15.

UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship and CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the same in the faculty of science.

Qualified candidates are given eligibility certificates that they can use to apply in universities and colleges as professors.
