NTA releases AIAPGET 2020 information bulletin with four major changes

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) information brochure, with some major changes. Authorities will conduct AYUSH PG entrance exam entrance exam in computer based mode. It is a single exam for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH courses in India. The registered aspirants will be eligible to download AIAPGET admit card 2020 in online mode on June 20, from ntaaiapget.nic.in. The changes in AIAPGET 2020 include the number of cities, exam pattern, duration and more, which can be checked in the news below.

AIAPGET 2020 latest changes
Candidates can go through the changes which have been made by authorities as compared to the information bulletin of AIAPGET of the previous year.

  1. AIAPGET application fees - In the brochure, the application fees for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) have been included for this year. The application fees for EWS category is Rs. 2250. No changes have been made in the application fees of other categories.

  2. Change in exam duration, questions & marks - The changes introduced in exam pattern includes duration of exam, maximum marks and number of questions. According to the brochure, the exam will be held for two hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, which earlier was 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The total number of questions which will be asked in the exam are 120, which earlier was 100. Also, the exam will be of 480 maximum marks, which was 400 in the year 2019.

  3. Mode of exam changes - AIAPGET exam will be conducted in LAN (Local Area Network) Computer Based Test, in which the responses given by candidates will remain unchanged even after the power is cut.

  4. Increase in exam cities - For the year 2020, the exam will be held in 33 exam cities. A total of eight cities have been added in the list, including Agra, Kolhapur, Kottayam, Nasik, Ranchi, Roorkee, Thrissur and Vijayawada. For the last year, an exam was conducted in 25 cities across India.
