NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 9: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application form of UGC NET for December session on September 9, 2019. The application form has been released in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill the application form of UGC NET till October 9. To fill the application form, candidates must visit the official website of the examination conducting body - nta.ac.in and click on the application form link.

Before filling the application form, candidates must have a valid email ID, an active mobile number and scanned image of photo and signature. Candidate must also keep certain documents like education certificates, bank details etc. ready with them before they start filling the application form. Along with filling the application form, candidates must also pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 800 (general), Rs 400 (OBC-NCL) and Rs. 200 (SC/ST/Transgender) in both online and offline mode. The online mode can be done using SBI_MOPS (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking, e-challan) while for payment through E-Challan, candidates have to download the e-challan and submit the challan and fee at the nearest State Bank of India Branch.

Candidates must fill all the details related to name, address, education qualification, subjects, centre preference etc. in the application form correctly since no modification will be allowed after the final submission. On filling the application form and payment of application fee successfully, candidates must take a print out of the application form and the fee receipt and keep it for future references. Candidates who will fill the application successfully within the allotted time frame will only be issued the admit card.

UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for recruitment as Assistant Professors and to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). UGC NET 2019 is slated to be held from December 2 to 6, 2019 in online mode. The test will be held for two papers - paper I and II wherein paper I will be common for all while paper II will be held for the subjects opted by the candidates.
